It begins at a trumpet interchange with I-93 (Powerlinia) and continues westward until it reaches Jacob S Street in Chanceworth, Carson. == Oceanland == In Oceanland, when the highway begins, the Trumpet interchange is directly connected to the Oceanland State Route 44 interchange, so drivers can either go onto the I-93 OR they could go onto SR 44. Anyways, It immediately enters the capital of Oceanland, Orangeville. It continues through the city and has a small interchange with the Orangeville Broadway. After that, the road mainly goes through suburbs and eventually goes into rural areas, a partial cloverleaf interchange at the town of Stevenville. It provides access to many north Oceanland wilderness park trails (as it goes through the Pinewood Mountains) and eventually reaches the Arland state border. == Arland == In Arland, the highway starts in the Pinewood Mountains, later, it has a diamond interchange with Route 11 and continues through mostly rural farmland. In 2014, an EF5 tornado hit the aforementioned farmland and caused the interstate to be closed. It goes through Athlete City, the municipality that was affected by the tornado passing over the city. Anyways. it continues for another 38 miles, passes through the city of Winterton, and eventually crosses a bridge into Carson. == Carson == In Carson, the entire Interstate 46 is called the Carson Turnpike, crosses through several towns (with several tolls) and in only 38 miles, reaches the biggest city in Carson, called Davidsonville. It waltzes through, generating an interstate, and yadayadayada because i'm too lazy to type all of this. It then goes over and has an interchange with the I-90 and I-95 highways. Continuing westward you reach Wilson County, where you reach the SR 826 interchange. They expanded the highway with four additional lanes and rebuilt a lot of the highway. This involved having to demolish the old SR 856, rebuilding the exits, etc. It was finished in April 2023. The highway then goes over to the (now finished) construction on the Walter Road. The construction was done to make the road look a bit nicer. Then you reach the Burlington partial cloverleaf interchange, the largest interchange of the county. A few skips later you reach the Brownston Road diamond interchange right before you cross into Flintstone County, Basically the first suburbs to the Chanceworth Metro area (the largest in Carson). === Chanceworth === When it entered Flintstone County, the Carson Tpke ETL came (basically the same as the previous SR 856 ones) which followed until an interchange with I-22. It was originally planned during the construction of Route 1 from Macklemore to Karmaland. They wanted an efficient way to go from Macklemore directly to Mexidelphia. There was once a plan for the route to go through Weatherington, but that plan was cancelled for unknown reasons (most likely to improve the flow of traffic coming into Mexidelphia). The route was completed in 1961 (construction started in 1938 but was delayed because of World War Two). In 1988, the portion of the turnpike extending from Sunville to Tiranium was expanded from a 2 lanes undivided road to a 4 lanes divided highway. The same thing happened closer to Mexidelphia when the Roger D. Francis Expressway (Francis Expy) was constructed in 1995. The expressway led to Interstate 46. From there, the Macklemore Turnpike would (somewhat) end. Parts of it however can be found in other areas such as Mine Air (Mineair), Dodgeville, and of course, Wellington. 978b93cf1e47e6832af51e25a77b6cea1f3573a4 Mine Air 0 11 27 2023-11-15T21:42:13Z Oregon445 2 Created page with "Mine Air (or Mineair) is the county seat of Waynesboro County.
